Pala-Tech Cranberry Plus Chewable Tablets is a natural dietary supplement for use in dogs and cats containing ingredients known to be beneficial for the animal’s urinary tract and to help prevent infection of the urogenital system.
Recommended Use: The following dosage schedule is recommended for daily administration. Consult with your veterinarian to determine the proper dosage and schedule for each individual animal prescribed this product:

The recommended dosage is 1 tablet/45 lbs. (20 kg) body weight daily. Tablets are bilaterally scored and can be easily broken for accurate dosing. For best results during an UTI occurrence, the daily dosage should be administered every 12 hours.
Administration: Pala-Tech Cranberry Plus Chewable Tablets are formulated with a proprietary, highly palatable chicken liver flavor to ensure all pets readily consume the tablet. Administer free choice orally to the pet as a treat, or crumble over the pet’s food at mealtime. If crumbled over food, consumption should be monitored.
Precaution(s): Store at room temperature; 15°C-30°C (58°F-86°F). Avoid excessive heat.

Pala-Tech’s Cranberry Plus Chewable Tablets includes additional ingredients specifically designed to help keep the pet’s urinary tract healthy. In addition to cranberry extract, this product contains: 1) echinacea, which will boost the animal’s immune system and help support the pet’s bacterial resistance, 2) sodium ascorbate (Vitamin C), which will also boost the pet’s immune system to improve resistance to infection and 3) Oregon grape root, which is an herbal ingredient containing the alkaloid berberine, known as an anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory compound that is also a beneficial anti-oxidant. These additional ingredients provide more benefit to the pet and better clinical results.
If your pet is allergic to chicken, then you will not be able to use this product with your pet since the flavoring is real chicken.
The chewable tablets are bilaterally scored, so they are very easy to break in half and even into quarters. The active ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the tablet, so you can break the tablet into smaller sizes for more accurate dosing. However, if your pet is small, you may find the Cranberry Plus Granules formulation to be easier to use and dose daily.
If your pet does develop a urinary tract infection, it is recommended to administer this product two times a day (BID) instead of once a day (SID). By doing this, the ingredients in this formulation will help resolve and eliminate the infection quicker, which is beneficial to the pet. The mode of operation for the ingredients in this product will help the pet eliminate the bacterial infection in their urinary tract sooner. In addition, none of the ingredients in the product will interfere with the veterinarian’s choice of antibiotics.
Pala-Tech uses cranberry extract sourced from the American Cranberry (Vaccinium macrocarpon), which contains proanthocyanidins (PAC’s) that work to stop pathogenic bacteria from attaching to the inner lining of the bladder wall. If these pathogenic bacteria are not able to attach to the bladder wall and colonize, then the bacteria are flushed out in the urine. This is how cranberry extract works effectively by minimizing the bacterial colonization of the bladder mucosa.
